Intermountain Specialty Gases (ISG) is committed to excellence

To showcase this, the laboratory at ISG earned accreditation to two internationally recognized standards through Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation (PJLA) (Accreditation #: 99538) in October 2023:

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – for Chemical Testing (Certificate #: L23-782-R1 & L23-783-R1)

ISO 17034:2016 – for Reference Material Production (Certificate #: L23-784-R1)

These highly sought after accreditations are difficult to earn, and they require rigorous maintenance of instruments, procedures, and records to maintain continuous compliance. This means that you are getting the highest quality product possible when you choose ISG and that you, and your customers, can trust the gas you order to keep people safe. Whether you need the traceability of Certified Reference Material or simply standard calibration gas, ISG has the quality you need.

Due to ongoing non-conformance with our cylinder return requirements, all cylinder returns must now receive prior approval before being accepted or processed. ISG only accepts returns of empty, refillable cylinders originally manufactured and sold by ISG. We do not accept:

  • Cylinders that are not empty
  • Cylinders sold by another company
  • Disposable cylinders
  • Cylinders that have previously contained flammable gases

Acceptance of non-conforming cylinders poses a risk to our hazmat certification and regulatory compliance. As a result, return requests will only be accepted from authorized distributors. Returns initiated directly by end users can no longer be approved.

Distributors: Please contact our customer service team at orders@isgases.com with the return details to request approval.

End users: Please contact your distributor to coordinate any return requests on your behalf.

Terms and Conditions

  • All cylinder returns must be shipped non-hazmat. All cylinders being shipped back must be completely empty.
  • Returned cylinders must be Intermountain Specialty Gases cylinders.
  • Please leave all labels on cylinders.
  • Non ISG cylinders will be returned to sender
  • Refunds or exchanges will be processed once the returned item is inspected.
